Construction plans are on target for the new Florida Hospital. You've probably noticed this spectacular construction site as you've driven I-95 through Ormond Beach. The new hospital will replace the current Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial facility and will be double in size!
We're building this new hospital in East Volusia County to exceed the health care needs of our community. The 718,000-square-foot facility includes 245 private patient rooms and 53 private emergency treatment rooms. Also, the facilty will feature a community wellness and education center, free standing and comprehensive Cancer Care Center, child care services for our employees and a nature trail that spans the boundaries of the 135-acre site.
And because we're building a brand new hospital from the ground up, our patients will be treated to the most advanced medical technology.
